David has been in the Background Screening Industry since 1993 as a business owner and working for large Background Screening Companies. In 2003 David helped establish the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and went on to be the first Co-Chair in 2005-2006. As Co-Chair, David was instrumental in laying the groundwork for what is now the largest association in the world for the Background Screening Industry. David’s experience includes expanding service offerings, business acquisitions, startup of enterprise and various corporate division services, creating solutions to the Human Resource industry, and leveraging partnerships to create broader company strength in the Background Screening Industry and Human Capital arena. Areas of experience include Background Screening domestic and international, Drug Testing, I-9, Fingerprinting, Unemployment Claims, Employment Verification Outsourcing, Business Tax Incentives; WOTC, and W2 services. David has actively participated in executive sponsorship for large Fortune 1000 companies and for a top three non-profit organization to successfully execute target deliverables. One of David’s past companies was referenced in the book “how to Succeed and Make Money with Your First Rental House” and authored several articles for the NAPBS, Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Gwinnett Daily News, and Exhibit City News. Additionally, David chaired the NAPBS Ethics Committee for more than five (5) years. David holds a Business and Human Resource degree from Gwinnett College.  Connect with David on Linkedin here.
