Brian D. Chapman, CEO of MBI Worldwide Background Checks was recently nominated and inducted into the CEO Council of Tampa Bay.

Founded in 1992, the CEO Council of Tampa Bay is the premier organization for entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officers in the Tampa Bay area. The Council’s foundation is built upon its ability to build relationships, generate ideas and formulate solutions. All three components are focused on the management and growth of the members’ businesses.

The CEO Council is comprised of entities with a minimum of 25 employees and annual revenues of $3 million. Its 240 members represent approximately 30,000 employees.  Members must first be nominated by associates of the council based on required criteria, then voted into the council by the CEO Council of Tampa Bay Board of Directors.

Mr. Chapman has been recognized as one of St. Louisans Top 100 People To Know to Succeed in Business in 2015.  He has multiple accolades and awards from his twelve year law enforcement career prior to his tenure at MBI Worldwide.  Chapman is a Founding Member of The National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS), joining the industry-related professional organization at its inception in 2003.  He is a Board Member and Co-Chair on the NAPBS Credentialing Council, approving accreditation to other national Consumer Reporting Agencies that fulfill compliance and best practices standards.

Mr. Chapman is a public speaker and host to company webinars specializing in employment background check topics including compliance, best practices and FCRA.  He has a degree in Criminal Justice from John A. Logan College in Illinois and holds both a Basic and Advanced FCRA Certification from the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.
