What is the cost of services?

Costs vary based on which services are ordered. Usually the cost ratios will run parallel to the position of placement. If you are hiring for a blue collar position you will see a lower cost than hiring for a physician or executive. MBI Worldwide does provide both volume and collectively package discounts.

What type of screening should I be doing for my employees?

Depending on the nature of your business you may have state or federal requirements. Please contact MBI Worldwide to discuss your individual needs. We can set-up a compliant screening process that works for your company.

Do I have to have my applicant’s permission to process a screening report?

Yes, you are required to have both your applicant’s written consent and you are required to notify your applicant that a screening report is being processed. This must be done before a screening is ordered. You are also required to give your applicant a copy of their rights under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act).

How long does a screening take?

The time it takes to complete a screening report varies based on the services ordered. County and Statewide Criminal searches can take 24-72 hours because manual processes are involved. Many services are instant, such as credit and most MVR orders. There are several searches that MBI Worldwide cannot control, such as clerk searches and case files that need to be pulled by the courts.

How can I place an order?

MBI Worldwide offers a web based ordering tool that is accessed using a secure login that is designated when your account is established. This tool allows you to place the order at your convenience, 24/7.

How do I retrieve results?

Via our client services website. Clients are provided with a customer User ID and Password, which allows you to securely access and retrieve screening results. Results can be viewed, printed and archived.

How do I establish an account with MBI Worldwide?
